Over this she wears a grand burgundy felt jacket, trimmed with a fine metallic gold gimp (carefully edged in black) and cuffs of red chenille braid. To ensure that everything stays precisely where it ought to, the jacket is fastened at the front with splendid Green Sequin Rosettes. The red chenille braid is repeated on her hat band; and the hat itself is topped with a fine red rose.
