In 1931 William Van Alen, the architect of the Chrysler building dressed as the Chrysler building for the Beaux Arts Architects ball. In commemoration of that event I dressed my muse, my own cat Tati, as the Chrysler building. His dress is made of a glitter georgette with an image I drew of the Chrysler building heat transferred onto the front. His hat is cut from a 1/8” industrial white felt with the image heat transferred onto it. The face is hand sculpted, cast in resin and painted by hand, the ears are cut from a metallic gold felt, the head back and the paws are felt, the eyes are holographic backed resin cabochons.
